Welcome to the Adult Section

of your Baxter Public Library!

We have books and DVDs available for check out along with computers with printers to use. The NEW adult books are housed right inside the doors. Our fiction books are arranged in categories to allow you to easily find the genre you like to read. The libray has a few magazines available along with the Jasper County Tribune to read. There are many more magazines available through the online Bridges service.

Summer Reading 2021

Read books and play Bingo for prizes. Stop in and grab your card.

Adult Book Club

Book Club meets the first Monday of every month at 6:00 pm for discussion over the monthly selection. To see what is currently being read, please visit our Facebook event page. Stop in to the library to borrow a copy to read.

Quilt Club

The Quilt Club meets every month on the third Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Each year the Quilt Club sews and donates "Quilts of Valor" to local vets. Stop in to the library if you are interested in joining the group or donating to buy supplies for the "Quilts of Valor".
