Library Board
Our Baxter Public Library Board of Trustees governs all aspects of our library. The board consists of five community members that serve a 6 year term. Our current board members are Robert Yeltman, April Kearns, Amanda Samson, Taylor Osmundson, and Whitney Kuecker. The board meets the first Tuesday of each month at 5:00pm.
The library board will next meet Tuesday September 1st, 2026 at 5:00pm at the Baxter Public Library. You can find a copy of the agenda here.

- Advocate for the library in the community.
- Plan for the future of the library.
- Monitor and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the library.
- Adopt library policies.
- Hire and evaluate the library director.
